Overview
The WISH (Wireless Integrated Switch Hub) line is Ideas’ approach to computer and environmental access. WISH interfaces are wireless and reprogrammable, meaning that they can be customized on the fly to perfectly match each user’s unique needs, through easy-to-use software. The wide range of available functions allows WISH users to access nearly any facet of their computer or communication system, and optional add-ons allow this functionality to expand to controlling any switch-accessible device. Unlike Bluetooth computer interfaces, WISH devices never need to be paired to a computer, avoiding a cumbersome and inaccessible process that can inhibit independence.
Users with a limited number of switches or other access sites can still make use of a large number of functions thanks to the WISH line’s multitasking capabilities. WISH devices can be made to recognize different lengths of switch activation, and multiple modes can be set up to re-map the device’s entire functionality.

WISH List Software
WISH List is the software at the heart of the flexibility and versatility that define the WISH line. It is through this software that a WISH interface device can be reprogrammed to match any user’s unique access needs. It can be as simple as plugging the device into a USB port and selecting a pre-made setup file. An advanced mode allows for individual settings to be customized one-by-one. By allowing for both of these approaches, we have sought to make WISH List approachable for as many different types of users as possible, whether they want to program a device as quickly as possible, or to delve into its detailed inner workings.

WISH Box
Part #9084
The WISH Box is an interface for users with up to seven access switches, and/or an environmental control unit (ECU). An ECU from your power wheelchair’s manufacturer allows the WISH Box to use the same controls that you use for driving to operate your computer or other devices. The WISH Box then uses the information from the switches and/or ECU to send wireless signals to a WISH Receiver or WISH Link, which then provide computer or environmental access. Because the WISH Box can understand any switches or driving controls, it remains our most versatile and flexible interface.
WISH Stick
Part #9085
The WISH Stick is an interface which incorporates a built-in joystick, plus ports for two external switches. It is an ideal solution for users with of manual wheelchairs, standers, or strollers, or other users who do not have electrical driving controls (users who do may consider the WISH Box for its ability to tap into driving controls). Alternate joystick handles ensure that a wide range of users will be able to effectively operate the WISH Stick. Any direction on the joystick can be treated as an individual switch, meaning that users aren’t restricted to using the joystick just for direct mouse control.
WISH Receiver
Part #9088
The WISH Receiver plugs into any computer’s USB port, and allows it to be controlled wirelessly by a WISH interface device. This Receiver can emulate mouse, keyboard, and joystick commands. It is also plug-and-play, meaning that it requires no additional drivers to be installed on the computer.
WISH Link
Part #9134
The WISH Link is a more advanced form of the standard WISH Receiver. Like the WISH Receiver, it accepts wireless commands from a WISH interface device, and can be plugged into a USB port to allow full computer access. Unlike the regular Receiver, though, it can also simulate physical switches through a number of switch ports. In essence, it pretends to be up to three access switches, allowing for control of any device that would normally need switches plugged into it. This expands the uses of the WISH interface devices beyond simple computer control, and into the broader environment.
